Seward's season came down to 1.7 seconds last night. In a 67-64 contest in favor of the Grizzlies, Butler purposely fouled Donte McCarter to send him to the line. McCarter had to sink the first and miss his second opportunity in hope a Saint could get a putback to go into overtime.McCarter did sink the first. McCarter's second shot banged off the front of the rim. The shot bounced straight back towards McCarter, who in the mid-air scramble came away with it. McCarter, falling backwards, threw up the shot. McCarter hit the floor and the last stitch effort fell short as Seward's season came to a close following a 67-65 loss."Breaks didn't go our way," Saints head coach Bryan Zollinger said. "It's one turnover, one shot, one foul, one call...

When the doctor said, “You have arrhythmia supraventricular tachycardia,” Alex Sturanovic was stunned. He already knew that something was wrong with his heart and had for a long time, but he never imagined something with a long name and complicated meaning.
Seven years ago, Alex woke up impressed by his incredible fast heart rate. He didn’t tell anybody about it.
He came to the United States from Serbia on Aug. 21, 2009, to play basketball at Seward County Community College. At the beginning, the arrhythmia attacks caught him only occasionally. One day he felt bad from the morning to the early night. His host mom realized that something was wrong, and asked him what was happening. Sturanovic told her his situation, and...

Not a lot to say on the Saints 93-52 blowout over Colorado Christian University’s JV. The Saints outmatched CCU in nearly every facet of the game. CCU’s outside shooting was the only thing that went right for them on the night with guards Ryan Holocher and Andrew Harrison each with four threes on the night and hitting double digits. Whereas Seward was kicking on all cylinders with 11 Saints recording a basket on the night. Five Saints scored in double figues in the Saints route over CCU. Seward shot 83 percent from the field the second half, and finished the night shooting 68 percent. The Saints were also plus-18 in the turnover category. Tony Smith led the way for the Saints with 15, Latiq Agard and Marcus James...
